The Deel flows for 28 miles into the Lough Conn and Lough Cullin system, which in turn is part of the River Moy system. This river offers a lot of opportunities for the all round fly angler. It gets a good run of spring salmon and a plentiful supply of grilse during the summer.  The dry fly fishing for brown trout can be very good in the evenings and it gets a run of trout up from Lough Conn in August/September. Added to this is the top quality pike fly fishing to be had in the lower reaches.
